175 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force planted trees

Kamrup. A tree plantation program was organized by 175 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force. The program was first inaugurated by Commandant Rajeev Kumar Jha of 175 Battalion CRPF by planting a tree in the ground of Rani High School Kamrup. The program was organized in collaboration with CRPF officers and jawans along with the students and teachers of the school in which more than 500 different types of fruit, medicinal and ornamental plants like neem, arjun, jamun, guava, peepal, etc. were planted. The students of the school participated in the plantation program with enthusiasm. On this occasion, Second Command Officer Amit Sinha, Assistant Commandant Komalpreet Kaur along with gazetted officers, subordinate officers and jawans participated enthusiastically in the plantation program. On this occasion, Commandant Rajiv Kumar Jha said that we know that trees are the basis of our life. Without them, human life and its ecosystem cannot be imagined on this earth. He said that this plantation program will be considered successful only when most of these plants are successfully kept alive by taking continuous care of them. On this occasion the Head Master of Rani High School Deepak Kumar Sharma, Assistant Teacher Sarvananda Kalita and students of the school were present. The children praised the local public, administration and school teachers for this tree plantation campaign of 175 Battalion CRPF and requested to organize such programmes in future at Rani High School and in the village.
