
The main objective of CRPF is to serve the public along with protecting them – Lokesh
Sukma. Under the guidance of Commandant Kumar Mayank of 159 Battalion CRPF, CRPF distributed blankets, utensils, bags, pens, pencils, bicycles etc. to the needy villagers of Naxal-affected area Puswada and Goledguda villages of Sukma Chhattisgarh on Friday in front of CRPF camp near Naxal-affected area Puswada village and organized a free medical camp under the Civic Action Program. In the camp, CRPF medical officer did free consultation, medicine distribution and general health checkup. During the program, Second Command Officer of 159 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force, Lokesh Kumar, while addressing the people, said that the objective of Civic Action Program is to develop cordial relations by reducing the gap between security forces and general public, to establish harmony among the villagers and ensure participation in development. He said that this area has been neglected for years due to the Naxal problem. Due to the terror and fear of Naxalites, there was an atmosphere of fear and terror among the local people in this area, but after the establishment of 159 Battalion CRPF camp, development related works have gained momentum in the area. Serving the public along with their security is the main objective of CRPF. On this occasion, Second Command Officer of 159 Battalion Lokesh Kumar and Dr. Kashif Raza, besides Company Commander of Puswada G 159 Raj Abhishek Dwivedi (Asst. Command.), Inspector K.H. Thangal and other personnel and dignitaries of the battalion praised this program for public welfare. At the end of the program, the people were very happy and thanked CRPF wholeheartedly.
