In the 11th Combined Annual Training Camp organized by 6 Bihar Battalion NCC Gaya at Nigam Monastery, a yoga program was organized on the fourth day of training as per the orders of Commanding Officer Colonel Pankaj Kumar (Kirti Chakra). Before the program, Commanding Officer of 6 Bihar Battalion Colonel Pankaj Kumar said that since ancient times, the union of soul and God has been called yoga. People can keep themselves healthy through yoga. He also said that yoga increases the power of our life, ability to meditate and productivity. Yoga also stabilizes and controls the body, mind and emotions of a human being. NCC cadets did yoga sadhana in the yoga camp. Swami Paramtej of Art of Living made the students practice various yoga postures including Kapalbhati, Pranayama, Sudarshan Kriya, Dhyan Ka Asana for about 1 hour. Swami Paramtej of Art of Living said that in Sudarshan Kriya, one will be taught to control oneself through breathing. There are many secrets hidden in our breath. We are unable to

understand these secrets. It has a certain rhythm, which changes according to the feeling of the mind. Every rhythm also affects some parts of the body. You just have to feel it. If you breathe happily, you will feel some expansion in your body. If you breathe sadly, you will feel something shrinking inside. After learning to control it, one feels fresh and happy. Subedar Major Amalendu Mandal, Subedar Sundar Singh, Pramod Kumar, Rakesh Prasad, Naib Subedar Arvind Sharma, Vikram Singh, BHM Kanaram, CHM Ranjay, Ananjay Kumar, Kartar, Rahul, NCC officer Meenu Kumari, GCI Supriya Ranjan, Virendra Kumar Singh, Shahabuddin, and others were present on the occasion.
