During this, CRPF distributed blankets, towels and lungis to the elderly, men and women, students, women, youth and villagers, school bags to children, pens and pencil boxes, utensils and sarees to women and bicycles to the youth, water drums and cricket kits for playing etc. In Gaya and village Polampalli, sick villagers were treated and free medicines were distributed. Addressing the people present on the occasion, Commandant Kumar Mayank of 159 Battalion CRPF said that under the Civic Action Program, CRPF is continuously distributing free medicines at different places. Material is being distributed among the needy. Along with this, free medical camps are also being organized so that they can get timely and appropriate treatment. He made the elderly men and women, students, women, youth and villagers aware of the various welfare schemes of the government, and also gave the message that CRPF is there for the safety of all of you and is always ready to help you. The objective of this program is to improve the lives of the local people and to promote the feeling of mutual trust and brotherhood between the villagers and the soldiers, which is being fulfilled as expected and the people of the area are developing a feeling of trust and friendship towards CRPF. All the villagers were advised to be health conscious and keep the village clean. At the same time, he motivated the young students of the village regarding the recruitment process for joining the paramilitary forces and stressed on the usefulness of studies in nation building.
