Amidst Indo-Pak tension: Gaya district administration conducted a comprehensive review meeting of civil security preparations

In view of the increasing tension between India and Pakistan, a comprehensive review meeting of civil security preparations was held in Gaya Collectorate Auditorium on Saturday under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Dr. Tyag Rajan SM. In the meeting, District Magistrate Dr. Tyag Rajan SM said that civil security has to be improved, for this, the city security agency, i.e. civil security agency, National Cadet Corps (NCC), Scout and Guide and other security agencies have to be prepared so that they can be used in internal arrangements to deal with emergency situations. For civil security, it will be deployed in sensitive areas of the district like railway, airport, water reservoir, Ganga project, station, bank and all such areas. Internal security and system should be maintained continuously. Officials said that along with city security, common people also have to be made aware of emergency situations, especially on social media, during emergency special monitoring has to be done that if any person posts stressful things on social media platform, administration will take immediate action against such people. Senior Superintendent of Police Anand Kumar, 6 Bihar Battalion NCC Commanding Officer Colonel Pankaj Kumar (Kirti Chakra), 27 Bihar Battalion Adam Officer Colonel Rohit Sharma, 47 Battalion CRPF Deputy Commandant Uttam Kumar, officers of Sashastra Seema Bal and officers of other departments were present in the meeting.
