In the ATC First Camp organized by 6 Bihar Battalion NCC at GD Goenka School located on Patna Gaya Main Road, the Army Recruitment Officer from Army Recruitment Office (ARO), Gaya told the NCC cadets in detail about how to make a career in the army and various entries of officers in the army. Major Avinash Giri, who is leading the ARO team, gave detailed information about the Agniveer scheme and said that “C” certificate pass NCC cadets get 20 marks separately in the recruitment exam and B certificate pass NCC cadets get 15 additional marks in the recruitment exam. If the same NCC cadet has done a 2-year course of ITI with C certificate, then he is given additional 30 marks in the recruitment exam and the candidate who has passed the 1-year ITI course is given additional 20 marks. The Major said that if any NCC cadet joins Agniveer Technical Recruitment after doing a diploma in engineering, then the C certificate pass NCC cadet gets additional 50 marks in the recruitment exam. Therefore, NCC cadets who have done technical courses get a chance to join the army very easily as compared to other candidates in recruitment. In Officers Entry, C certificate holder cadets directly qualify for SSB without giving the exam and can become officers in the army. During this, Camp Commandant Pankaj Kumar (Kirti Chakra) encouraged the cadets. On this occasion, Adam Officer Colonel Vishal Sharma, Subedar Major Vikram Singh, Subedar Sanjay Sharma, Arvind Sharma and others were present.
