
Gaya. Fire Service Week was started at Gaya Airport, Gaya. First of all, Airport Director, Mr. Bangajit Saha paid tribute to the fire personnel who were martyred in the massive fire incident at Mumbai Port in 1944 and offered flowers. Thereafter, Fire Service Week was started by lighting a lamp. On this occasion, Mr. Avinash M.V. Soreng, Deputy General Manager (Communication), Anjani Tripathi, Inspector, CISF, Amit Kumar, Joint General Manager (Communication), A.C. Boro, Manager (Fire), D.K. Verma, District Fire Officer and other officers and personnel were present. On this occasion, all the people were made aware of the main equipment used by the fire personnel to extinguish fire and a demo was also presented. During the said program, the airport director told that along with the fire personnel, we all need to be vigilant in extinguishing fire. It is often seen that information about fire is given only when the situation is dreadful. When such a thing is seen, it should be reported timely so that there is no major loss of life and property. During this, everyone was made aware about the various programs to be held during the Fire Service Week so that maximum number of personnel can participate.
