Sukma. The wind of democracy is blowing fast in the remote villages of the most Naxal-affected areas of Sukma. Many villages have been suffering the brunt of Naxalism for many years. The people of these villages are deprived of development and basic amenities. Now rapid change is coming in these areas. 159 Battalion Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) is providing the material of their needs to the villagers through civic action program. Sukma Range Deputy Inspector General Anand Singh Rajpurohit attended this program as the chief guest. He was welcomed by 159 Battalion CRPF Commandant Kumar Mayank and Deputy Commandant Amitabh Krishna. CRPF Deputy Inspector General Anand Singh Rajpurohit himself distributed the material under the Civic Action Program. CRPF distributed utensils, sarees to the poor, helpless men and women and needy people of Devapara, Patelpara, Lachchhupara, Chakrupara and Dhurwapara in the Balshaala Ashram premises under Chikpal Panchayat of Sukma and bicycles, water drums, blankets, towels to the youth and school bags, pens and pencil boxes to the children and cricket kits for playing etc. Apart from this, CRPF organized a free medical camp. In which people from far-flung areas came and after treatment in the medical camp, medicines were distributed. On the occasion, CRPF Sukma Range Deputy Inspector General Anand Singh Rajpurohit said that the main objective of CRPF is to serve the public along with their security. Such camps are organized with the aim of establishing coordination between CRPF and the villagers. He appealed to the villagers to send their children to the hospitals of the CRPF. Send them to school and contact the local camp for any problem, all their problems will be solved through the camp. Such camps being organized in remote areas are proving to be a milestone in security and social development for the helpless, poor and needy. On the occasion, local people said that with the arrival of CRPF, there is a rapid change in these areas and this noble work is being done continuously by CRPF, for which we thank them on behalf of all the villagers. The program was conducted by CRPF Deputy Commandant Amitabh Krishna Yadav. On this occasion, Commandant Kumar Mayank of 159 Battalion, Deputy Commandant Amitabh Krishna Yadav, Assistant Commandant Tulsi Das, Assistant Commandant Atirkur Rahman, Medical Officer Kashif Raja and other soldiers and dignitaries of the battalion were present.
