Gaya. C certificate examination was organized for absent NCC cadets under NCC Headquarters Gaya Group in NCC Line Area Campus. 24 cadets participated in this examination. In the NCC “C” certificate examination, cadets were tested for drill, map reading, weapons, field and battle craft etc. Commanding Officer Colonel Pankaj Kumar (Kirti Chakra) Lieutenant Colonel Ajay Kumar were present on this occasion. On the occasion, Commanding Officer Colonel Pankaj briefly told about the NCC “C” certificate that candidates holding NCC’s ‘C’ certificate can directly appear in the SSB examination to get selected as officers in the Indian Defense Services. They do not need to appear in the Combined Defense Services Examination (CDS Examination) organized by the Union Public Service Commission and those who want to be recruited as soldiers (General Duty) are exempted from giving the written examination and they will be placed at the top of the merit list. Subedar Sundar Singh, Beneshwar Bhagat, Rahul Chaudhary, Havildar Kartar Sushil Kumar and others were present on this occasion.
